Whoever said wedding planning was fun.... was crazy!

Yes, you heard it correctly. I am a little over the whole wedding planning stuff. It was fun, for a whole, lets see, 2 days maybe. The 2 days that I booked Primrose Cottage and visualized our wedding day out on the front lawn. Now, I would be willing to just run away and get married on a beach with only our close family. As I've mentioned before, I guess it doesn't help that I have an idea of what I want and how I think our day is going to look and I am seeing that get shot down daily. I'm not saying we have to spend thousands of dollars or go crazy with things, but I am definitely not feeling the excitement like I thought I would. So I've decided when its something we are paying for and/or something we really want for our special day, after Robby and I talk about it and come to an agreement, we are just going to do it (and keep our mouths shut until the big day)! No negative opinions from the peanut gallery please :) and thank you! I would love for once, to be able to tell people about something exciting going on in the wedding planning process and not get a negative response in return. We want our day to be special for us and for our families and friends that will be there celebrating. All we want and need is love, prayers and support!

So enough of my Monday morning vent. This weekend we had gorgeous weather!! I love Fall! Friday night we went out with a friend from Robby's work and his wife. We had a great time and it's always nice to meet new friends. Saturday we went running down at the river and ran some errands. That afternoon I helped Robby paint the house. Its really looking great. We are painting the whole house, by hand, and as a friend said shockingly - with a paintbrush!! and a roller for the hard to reach places. It's been fun. Besides the fact that I got highly irritated with the large roller on Saturday when it kept coming off of the handle. I think Robby could sense my frustration so he traded with me and I got up on the ladder to paint the side of the house. It's really rewarding to look at your hard work and labor come together. Even though Robby had his house before meeting me, I feel like we are putting "our" touches to it to make it "our" home one day. I will take some pictures this week to show where we are in the progress. Robby has done almost all of the hard work in painting so I can't take all the credit. I'm just there for support and the the easy areas :)

While we were painting, there was football going on. I haven't talked about football here yet but I think it's about time I do! Auburn, of course, is undefeated!! woohoo. And I'm tired of people saying - "Well, you barely beat Kentucky! So I would be careful" Who cares. A win is a win, and I seem to hear the same thing out of you when your team barely beats someone else. I still don't understand why SEC teams dislike us so much. Oh well. I won't talk bad about Georgia, as I am marrying a Georgia fan. We will soon become the "house divided". But I will say, they have had a rough season but pulled out a win this weekend. But, what I would like to mention, is how our biggest rivalry - Alabama - LOST!! And its not really the fact that they are a huge rival (well, maybe it is, a little) it's just that when a team wins over and over again, its time for someone else (same feeling about Florida). Yes, Alabama has had a good team, but thats old news, let someone else come in and have some of the excitement. Just because you lost one game, it's not going to kill you. So needless to say, I was happy with Saturday's football game outcomes.

Sunday was about the same - more painting. We did get some progress made on the photographer selection process. Thank you Robby for sitting down and looking at everything! This has been a sensitive subject with us and we are finally making progress. Engagement shots have to be taken in the next few weeks so we should have an update on who we chose this week!! I did decide to go dress shopping with a friend/bridesmaid on Sunday afternoon. It was a very casual thing where I went to just get ideas of what looked good on and what I might want to start looking for. It was successful and thank you so much Jennifer for pushing me to go! We had fun and I will be visiting more places this weekend. Maybe an update will come on that! :)

Oh and I forgot to mention - I found a beautiful violinist for our wedding ceremony!! sooo excited about that :)

Hope everyone has a great week!!
