The Dress

About a week ago I started the dress shopping process. I knew it would take awhile to find the one that I loved and that was "the dress". It started off pretty rough. None of the dresses I tried on were my exact size. I began to think thats how it was going to be and I would have to order a big size and then have it altered. It was a little frustrating in that I really could not see how the dress would look like on. They were all either way to big or way to small and popped out at funny places or didn't cover in other. It was hard. I was getting very frustrated and discouraged. I've always heard when you find the one, you know. Well, I got that feeling this weekend. After visiting a few other places on Saturday, we ended with David's Bridal. My mom had found a dress online so set up an appointment for us. Mrs. Badger was able to join us as well. One thing that I loved about David's Bridal is that they would have one dress in 6 different sizes!!! It was so nice to actually try on a dress that fit me perfectly.

So when I first started writing this part of the blog, I went into detail about the dress shopping, what types of dresses I was trying on and what dress I ended up with, then realized, Shoot!! Robby reads this!! He CAN NOT know anything about the dress until the big day (sorry honey) ;) But I am so happy to be able to say I have a dress!!! I was soo excited and even got emotional about it. I got the feeling that everyone talks about when you know its the one. I did not want to take it off. We had so much fun and I am so glad that my mom and Robby's mom got to be there when we found the dress. It was completely different from what I was trying on originally. I LOVE IT!! so excited to get it in and to wear it down the aisle and see Robby's face. Now I have about 7 months until that day.

Now I can start looking at Bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses and finalize a few things with the photographer and videographer. Things are coming along and day by day as things get planned and confirmed, the stress is decreasing.

Another thing I am looking forward to this week is Zumba!! Zumba, for those of you that are not familiar with it, is a dance/aerobic class that has been growing in popularity. Groupon sent an email out the other day that was for $20 and you got unlimited Zumba classes for a month (normally a $50 value). So I got a few of my coworkers to sign up and we are all going tonight for our first class. Its a great way to switch up my work out routine so we will see how it goes. I know we will at least get a good laugh out of it. Here is a video from YouTube on what we should expect tonight. Yikes! Again, we will get a good laugh out of it
