Busy Weekend Ahead!!

It's Friday!!! and Thank goodness. This has been a busy few weeks for us. From wedding stuff, to getting together with friends, work, etc. And it looks like it's not slowing down anytime soon. It's October 1st today and looking ahead at our calendars, our weekends are pretty much booked for the next few weeks and continue to fill up during the week as well. Which is not a bad thing, but it can be stressful when all you want to do is come home from a hard day at work and relax. I guess that happens after the wedding, right? I enjoyed catching up with some friends these past 2 weeks over dinner and even ice cream! mmmm. I am so lucky to have such a great group of supportive girl friends. Always nice to be able to have girl time and let Robby do the manly things he does when I'm gone. :)

Last night, Mrs. Badger and I went to a Christmas Card making class at Archiver's. She introduced me to this store a few months ago and I love it! Probably not a good thing as I want to buy everything in there. But it is a lot of fun. They have everything from photo albums, scrapbooking stuff, stamps, stickers, and just about anything you need to make invitations or cards. Last month, we went to a Halloween card making class which was a lot of fun as well. It was basically just putting together some items that were in a kit so I didn't feel like I saw much of my creativity come through. Well, in the christmas card making class, we got to use stamps, we embossed and even got to "bling" our cards. It was great! There were so many fun ladies in the class and it was nice to just sit and relax and be creative. We even got to color with some pretty cool pens! Only those who do scrapbooking and artsy stuff would understand my excitement. Below are the pictures of the cards I made.

I also signed myself, my mom and Mrs. Badger up for the Wedding Invitation making class on Oct. 31. I am soo excited for this. Can't wait to see the different ideas and ways to make invitations.

Tonight we are meeting some friends for dinner at Swallow at the Hollow. We have been wanting to go here for awhile now. Its a bbq restaurant in Roswell that has gotten so many great reviews. Everytime we are in the area, you can smell their food. Rick and Ryan, brothers that Robby grew up with, are in the wedding and it's been awhile since we saw them last. And Elizabeth, Rick's wife, will be joining as well. Can't wait to catch up with them.

Saturday - where to begin. We start at 9am. I am taking Robby and his mom to Primrose Cottage for a tour. Yes, we have set a date and location!!!!! The updates on all this will come later. I would like for Robby and his mom to see the place and fall in love with it like I did, before putting up the exciting news! Robby's Dad got us tickets to Dave Ramsey at the Gwinnett Arena so we will head there around 1pm for his financial planning seminar. I am really looking forward to this as well. I know a couple of people who have gone through his program and it really works. With a wedding and our future ahead, I would like to start off on a good note and with a good plan to prepare ourselves for any surprises that might come along. We will have to leave a little early as my friend, Erica, is getting married in Marietta that night. Looking forward to seeing her! Its going to be a fun night.

Sunday will be a day to relax and do nothing, which I am ready for and hopefully we will have gorgeous weather.

Hope everyone has a great weekend as well!!!   HAPPY FRIDAY
