I can't believe it's been 10 years since this huge tragedy. I will never forget where I was and how I found out. It seems like yesterday. At church this morning, they had a bagpipe player and it was hard to hold back tears. Something about the sound of a bagpipe that just brings back emotions and memories. It was pretty amazing. After church we went to Kennesaw Mtn where they had a memorial of flags on the battle grounds. Each one symbolized a person who died in the 9-11 attacks. They had a parade and special ceremony yesterday and this morning that we missed but it was so cool to go by there and see it. It was a gorgeous day today and it was very peaceful and quiet, even though there were a bunch of people and cars around. The flags will fly until next week and you can then purchase them for $20. It was just beautiful to see all of them blowing in the wind. Robby got some great pictures.
