Well, its almost that time! Elf, the movie, has been played almost every night on TV, commercials for A Christmas Story marathon have started, and we even had a little bit of snow flurries the other night. Plus, working close to the mall, the shopping traffic has increased and its crazy out there!! I am happy to say I have all my shopping done and everything is wrapped. This year it was so much easier as my family decided to draw names so that we weren't buying gifts for everyone. I know we don't have the largest family out there, but it certainly is growing with 4 kids, spouses/significant others, and kids (lucky Elias is the only one so he will get spoiled this year). We are looking forward to spending time with our families this weekend and celebrating Christmas and the New Year.
Hopefully everyone has finished their Christmas shopping as well, or are close to it. Those last minute trips to the store are never any fun. Can you believe it will be here and gone before we know it? And then its time to celebrate 2011. Yikes! Time is flying way to fast and I'm not sure I like it to much.
Our Save the Dates came in, finally!! So be expecting those right after the New Year. We didn't want them to go out during the holidays or they might have gotten lost in all the Christmas Cards and craziness!! :)
We are getting closer to the big day, but we have a lot of stuff to get done before then, so lets hope that the beginning of the year is as slow as it usually is. February is always the longest month for me, even though it has the fewest days, but I am hoping for as much time as I can get until May. Our calendars are filling up quickly with appointments, parties, weddings, and deposits due, and more bookings! I'm definitely enjoying it, and I am pretty sure Robby is as well. A little less than 5 months!
