5 Months and Counting!!!!

Sooo exciting!! 5 months from TODAY we will be ending our road to becoming Mr. and Mrs. B. We WILL be the Badger family and I can not wait. And hopefully it will be much much warmer than it is today. :)

We had a great weekend, despite the bitter cold that has moved in. Saturday was spent out and about running some errands and walking around the ruins at Soap Creek (will post pictures tonight). Sunday we spent time with both our families which was really nice. Our church had a Christmas music performance and Robby's parents joined us for that. There was great music and it really put us in the Christmas spirit. We all then came over to my parents house to enjoy a yummy lasagna dinner that my mom had made for us. There was even a warm fire made by my dad and Matt to keep us warm! Can you believe that we are already having snow flurries! Its been fun to watch the little bit of snow that we are getting but I am hoping it doesn't stay this cold for long. Or maybe we could just have the snow on Christmas day :)

Another exciting weekend is ahead, and yes, I am already counting down the days and its only Monday. Could cause for a LONG week. Friday both Robby and I have our company Christmas lunches and will then get to go home early. That night we are babysitting for my cousin Clarke. We always look forward to spending time with their kids, Samuel and Ellie. Plus, Ellie is one of my flower girls so I just might have to spend a little time talking about that with her :) Saturday we get to go to our first Ugly Sweater Christmas party at Adam and Ashley's house. Adam is one of Robby's coworkers so it was really nice for him to invite us. Sunday will probably be spent relaxing and gearing up for Christmas week. I am pretty much done with my shopping, I believe Robby is as well ;) so hopefully that week will be relaxing and enjoyable for us.

We hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying this holiday season with their family and friends. I know the "bah-humbug" attitude hit me last week because of work and outside stress but I am letting all that go and getting excited for 2011!! so much to look forward to and going to close out 2010 with a smile and lots of happiness and things to be thankful for! We could not be more blessed with great family, friends and support.

Love,
Rachel and Robby
