10 years since.....

So....10 years since what?

Yep, since we graduated High School! Doesn't that seem crazy? For those older friends of mine, might make you feel old, or make you realize I'm still young, but it sure makes me feel old. It seems like its been 10 years since we graduated college. So much has happened in the past 10 years I don't even know where to start. Tomorrow night Robby and I are attending his 10 year high school reunion from Walton High School. It's going to be a little weird, but fun, for me seeing as though I had friends from Walton during my high school years, I dated a guy from Walton, and just knowing Robby's friends from school. I know it will be fun, but I always feel reunions are for people to find out the who, what, where, when, how about everyone there. Its about who is married to who, who is divorced already, has kids, makes this much money, all the other gossip, etc. Now of course, that could all be from me watching the movie Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. But it will be interesting to see what people are talking about, now with the world of Facebook and stalking, we pretty much know anything and everything about the ones we are interested in. Besides all that, we are looking forward to it. Robby has a close group of friends from high school that he still stays in touch with so we will be seeing all of them. Plus I'm sure I will be meeting others that he doesn't see on a regular basis.

Now the real dilemma, for the girl, what to wear? Living up in Marietta/East Cobb, all the girls have the cutest wardrobes and are always up to date on the latest trends. Me, on the other hand, am not. I have a casual work environment so it doesn't force me to buy super cute clothes or the latest items. I have a limited budget and I would rather spend my money on other things, not clothes. Plus we all face the "I want to loose more weight before buying nicer clothes" excuse. It's not black tie formal and its not going to the pool/gym casual. I hate trying to decide what to wear, especially to these kind of "in between" events. So hopefully I can come up with something before tomorrow night!

I just can't believe its been 10 years and this is where we are in our lives. Who would have ever thought I would marry a guy from our "rival" high school. It's almost as bad as marrying a guy who is a Georgia Fan, graduating from Auburn.... ;) Love you honey! I'm so glad I did though. I love having all these local things in common with Robby and know what he's talking about when we pass different places, or talk about our past high school and childhood, stories. One day we hope to move into the Walton School district so our kids can grow up there as well. So that will be even more exciting and interesting to see how things have changed from our days to our children's time.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I know we have a lot planned, maybe even a new addition to the family?? soo stay tuned :)

My next post I will have to share our Zip-lining experience we went on last week!! We are living a very adventurous married life so far, and hope to keep it up!
