I have been trying to decide on whether or not we were going to have an official wedding website and if I was going to go with TheKnot.com or mywedding.com. I worked on both and have finally decided to have something to share with our guests in addition to the blog. Check us out on Theknot.com. Its still a work in progress (waiting on Robby's about me section) and will be updating it with current wedding news and events as they happen and it gets closer to the day.

A lot of our wedding planning is complete! Yes, I said complete! woohoo. We have a lot checked off our list and now its just small things that can't even really be done until next year. I'm definitely ready for this day! My dress came in, in 3 weeks!! so its sitting at my parents house and I'm just dying to get it on again. But only for that special day of course. Its absolutely perfect and fits perfect. All that needs to be done is the bustle and depending on my shoes, hemmed a little. Now I am a little worried about the holidays and some minor weight gain, so it will be tough but I have to stay strong. No extra mash potatoes and gravy for me, only one roll, no candy, yikes!! With 2 Thanksgivings (one work and one family) this will be tough. Don't even get me started on the Christmas parties and food.
I head out of town for Ocean City Maryland tomorrow and I am gone until next Thursday. LONG trip for work and its my 5th year going up there. I dread it more and more every year. But I think I will be able to get some good things for my wedding at the show so that should be fun! Doing a little shopping always cheers a girl up, right!? Maybe I'll even take some pictures of the show to give all of you readers (all of you meaning 1 or 2) an idea of what I do for a living since many people still don't understand. I probably don't explain it well but it is an interesting idea. It takes almost a whole year to plan these events (the ones that are once a year - those that are twice a year only get about 6 months of planning) and they always turn out so nice. It always amazes me that it takes 2-3 days for these exhibitors to set up their booths and the hours and details they spend to make it look nice for a 4 day show. Then it takes them maybe 2-6 hours to tear it all down. I will never understand it but its fun to watch and laugh at all the craziness going on.
Robby will be left to watch the animals, +1 for a few days. He has offered to watch a friends dog for the quick weekend while they are away in Auburn for the AU/UGA game. This should be interesting since I won't be around to help out. I have no doubt that he will be fine with the dogs and can do it on his own, especially having a big fenced yard for them to go out and play in. But it will definitely be different with 2 big dogs in his house versus just Gracie (who is a handful by herself). It will be a good test to see if he and I would like to get a second dog, one day down the road of course. But I'm just glad he is able to help friends out so they do not have to board her.
When I get back next week, Thanksgiving will be around the corner and then Christmas and then the New Year! And that means we will be even closer to our wedding, woohoo!! :)
