Wedding colors

So, one thing to check off the list - wedding colors! I know this is something small but it has been bugging me for a few days now. I just didn't know what colors would be good for fall. I didn't want anything dull or dark because that would not picture well, plus I am not a dull and dark kind of person. If anyone knows me, and of course Robby does, I love pink! Pretty much any shade of pink. When talking to Robby about colors, he said "anything but pink" so I was a little bummed. My second favorite color is blue, so I thought I could come up with something pretty to go with blue. Not so much. Maybe because secretly I was still hoping for pink, I don't know. So I started looking around at different color options. I thought, just go basic with black. But then again, its dark and I need color. So I asked Robby again, and very nicely, "Can I please do pink?" I guess I should also clarify on my shade of pink. Not the pepto bismol or barbie pink - but like a fuschia or rose color. Robby gave me to ok!! As long as the guys do not have to wear pink. woohooo. So the guys will be wearing black tuxes and black vests, girls will be either a black dress with a fuschia sash or a fuschia dress with some black. That will come later after more important decisions have been made of course - wedding date, venue, etc, etc. But it at least got me through one stresser.

We are still trying to decide on a reception site. I will be visiting 3 places this weekend with my mom. I am REALLY hoping at least ONE works out. I am ready to set the date and get the ball rolling on this. We will also go look at 2 churches for the wedding ceremony. Since we are not members to any of those in Roswell, we are very limited when it comes to finding a place that will allow non-members and not overly expensive.

Below are some "ideas" that I found on "pink/fuschia weddings". Still a long road ahead so ideas might change or have a different twist to it.
